Sugar Free ?
The "sugar free" claim has a legal ground and must not be mistaken with other claims such as "low in sugar", "less sweet" or "no sugar added".
The claim "sugar free" is considered a "nutritionnal" claim and is subject of European regulation
as of 2007*.
This regulation describes the 'sugar free' claim as containing less than 0,5 g of sugar per 100 g or 100 ml. Our beer has less than 0,4 g of sugar per 100 ml, and therefore it can be considered as completely sugar free.
* European regulation no 1924/2006 of the European parliament and counsel of December 20th 2006, concerning nutritional claims and health related issues in regards to food stuff.
